The very large banner, welded from several widths.
Beyond the width of a roll, a banner is made by welding several widths together with heat. The weld is stronger than the fabric itself: that is what makes it possible to cover a building gable, scaffolding or a whole facade with a single graphic.
These sizes need a file prepared to scale and suitable reinforcement: a reinforcement band along the perimeters, closely spaced eyelets, and sometimes mesh rather than solid banner so the wind can pass through.
