A lightbox is a closed housing, lit from inside by LEDs, whose face is a printed translucent fabric or sheet. Unlike a panel lit by a spotlight, the light passes through the graphic: colours stay saturated at night and the sign reads from far away.
The face prints on backlit banner for large formats, on opal acrylic for smaller boxes, or on backlit adhesive film applied to a sheet. The choice decides the result: fabric tensions and changes easily, acrylic gives a firmer stance.
