What is a PVC Banner?

PVC banner

A PVC banner is a banner made of polyvinyl chloride, a widely used thermoplastic polymer, flexible and composed of more than 50% salt and 40% petroleum, to which a few plasticizers are added to adjust the flexibility of the final product and strengthen its resistance to breaking and tearing. PVC is a material that withstands temperature variations particularly well, making it ideal for indoor or outdoor use.

PE banner

A PE tarpaulin is a protective tarpaulin made of polyethylene. A material that complies with health and safety standards, polyethylene is used for food-grade applications such as the packaging of products on supermarket shelves.

HDPE polyethylene

The abbreviation PEHD actually stands for High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). Food-grade, it is used to make bags, toys, containers and packaging. A very strong material, it withstands impacts well and is an excellent electrical insulator.

Sensitive to UV, it must absolutely undergo treatments during the manufacturing of an object such as a plastic banner in order to last, especially when used outdoors.
