What is Velleda lamination?
Velleda lamination is a special dry-erase lamination. A film is applied over the print. Its surface accepts dry-erase markers (Velleda type) and wipes clean with a simple swipe of a cloth. Your printed panel or adhesive becomes a whiteboard: write in the morning, erase in the evening, start again the next day.
The principle fits in one sentence: you write and erase on the film, never on the ink. The printed visual stays underneath, protected, intact. So you print a durable background (a schedule grid, a menu frame, a price board) and use the marker only for what changes each day.
It is the simple solution for any display updated daily. No reprinting with every change: a marker and a cloth are all you need.
When should you choose Velleda dry-erase lamination?
- A team schedule: the grid is printed, names and hours are written with a marker.
- A restaurant menu: the frame stays, the daily specials change.
- A scoreboard for a club or a venue.
- Prices updated every day, in a shop or at a market stall.
You will find it in the Lamination option of our rigid and adhesive materials, for example on a 3 mm PVC panel or a Dibond 3 mm. The background design, for its part, is approved as usual on the print proof before printing: it is what will remain under the film for a long time. Other finishes to discover? Head to the glossary.
